Team Antonsen was a Norwegian sketch comedy television program which was shown on TV in spring 2004 on the Norwegian state channel NRK. The show consisted of four well-known comedians: Atle Antonsen, Harald Eia, Bård Tufte Johansen and Kristopher Schau performing various sketches. The show typically made fun of spoken nynorsk and sami, as well as regional dialects from all over Norway—most commonly from Northern Norway and the cities of Bergen and Trondheim. Celebrities often appeared on the show—among others famous writer Anne Holt and accomplished singer Bertine Zetlitz. Team Antonsen had an average viewer-rating of over 700 000 viewers, a high figure for a late-night TV show in a country with 4.6 million people. The show also spawned a stage comedy show called Team Antonsen Live: One Night Only, which was performed in Oslo Spektrum in May 2004. The comedians originally only planned one showing, but when tickets sold out they decided on performing one more, called Team Antonsen Live: One More Night Only. The series won several Norwegian comedy awards, most notably the 2004 Gullruten for best humor show, Komiprisen for best show, as well as Komiprisen viewer's award for their sketch Hjemme hos Haakon Børde.

Cyber Team in Akihabara is an shojo-science fiction-anime series created by Tsukasa Kotobuki and Satoru Akahori. Its genre can be best described as being a fusion of the magical girl, mecha and moe anime genres. The television series aired from April 4, 1998 to September 26, 1998 on TBS and ran for 26 episodes. It was released in the United States by ADV Films. It was broadcast on international networks such as Anime Network, AXN Asia, Locomotion. A 1-hour featured animation film of the series was subsequently released in Japan entitled Cyber Team in Akihabara: Summer Days of 2011; unlike the series the film was produced by Production I.G. The show has an array of characters, many of whom are named after birds, gods, and real-myth villains.

It was produced in the style of Thunderbirds from the 1960s, with live action marionettes, but had more adult themes and suggestive situations. Much of the humor was derived from the characters' complicated personal lives overshadowing their missions to save the world.
Time Team America is an American television series that airs on PBS. It premiered on July 8, 2009. It is an Oregon Public Broadcasting adaptation of the British show Time Team, produced in collaboration with Channel 4 which commissioned the original show, in which a team of archeologists and other experts are given 72 hours to excavate an historic site. The U.S. version features "freelance and university-affiliated experts [who] mostly join existing excavations...[and] arrive with resources that the archaeologists already on the case usually can’t afford and specific questions that, if answered, will advance the understanding of the site." A second season was announced on October 18, 2011, scheduled to shoot during the summer of 2012 and to air in 2013. On December 20, 2011 it was announced that Justine Shapiro would host the second season.

Sports Action Team is a half-hour comedy television series that ran for two seasons in 2006-2007. It was aired by some affiliates of the NBC network and the high definition channel HDNet. It was a semi-improvisational mockumentary depicting the production of a fictional sports news show of the same name. Originally intended as a sport-related program to fill air time after Sunday football games on the west coast, the first season eventually expanded to most major NBC markets around the country. The show's second season is shot in high definition, and is distributed by MGM. It is produced by Chicago-based Towers Productions, Inc. The regular cast is Al Samuels, Kevin Fleming, Steven Fleming, Antoine McKay, Katie Nahnsen, and Niki Lindgren, who have a background in Chicago area improvisational theater and play characters with the same first names. It also regularly features appearances by professional athletes. Athletes that have made appearances on the show include Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, Rudi Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals, former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka, Randy Moss of the New England Patriots, Patrick Willis of the San Francisco 49ers, and IndyCar racer Danica Patrick.
