All That Glitters is an American situation comedy television series by producer Norman Lear. It consisted of 65 episodes and aired between April 18 and July 15, 1977 in broadcast syndication. The show, a spoof of the soap opera format, depicted the trials and tribulations of a group of executives at the Globatron corporation. The twist of the series was that it was set within a world of complete role-reversal: Women were the "stronger sex," the executives and breadwinners, while the "weaker sex" – the men – were the secretaries or stay-at-home househusbands. Men were often treated as sex objects. The series features Eileen Brennan, Greg Evigan, Lois Nettleton, Gary Sandy, Tim Thomerson and Jessica Walter. Comic actor and cartoon voice artist Chuck McCann was also a regular. Linda Gray played transgender fashion model Linda Murkland, the first transgender series regular on American television. Before and after its premiere, All That Glitters was negatively received and the series lasted just 13 weeks.
The '90s Are All That is a programming block that airs nightly on TeenNick. The block shows reruns of classic Nickelodeon shows from the 1990s, airing in a two-hour block running every night from 11pm to 1am, also airing in an encore from 1am-3am. The block derives its name and logo from All That, a popular sketch comedy series that ran on Nickelodeon from 1994 to 2005. The creation of the block, which debuted the night of July 25, 2011, was inspired by a large amount of interest in classic Nickelodeon series from the 1990s by users of social media outlets such as Facebook. From October 7, 2011 through October 23, 2011, the block aired in an earlier time slot, from 10 p.m. to midnight. Response to the debut was very positive; hash tags pertaining to the block became trending topics on Twitter and the Nielsen Ratings for TeenNick on the debut night increased to between eight and 60 times the ratings TeenNick received in previous weeks, beating numerous higher-profile basic cable programs in the same time slot. Some of the animated programming that is scheduled to be included in the block in the future was, at the time of the block's launch, already airing in overnight marathons on sister network Nicktoons, a practice that began in summer 2010. The Nicktoons marathons existed simultaneously with The '90s Are All That through August 2011, but have since been removed from the schedule. From Monday 4 February 2013, Nickelodeon started to broadcast The '90s Are All That block with The Amanda Show, Clarissa Explains It All and The Journey of Allen Strange, airing from 10:30pm through to midnight. The block was not advertised, and is not branded. It then ended on 15 April 2013.
The Family That Walks On All Fours is a BBC2 documentary that explored the science and the story of five individuals in the Ulas family in Turkey that walk with a previously unreported quadruped gait. The documentary was created by Passionate Productions and was broadcast on Friday 17 March 2006. The voiceover is Jemima Harrison. A revised version of the documentary that shifts the focus away from the story of the discovery of the family and includes the views of additional scientists was shown on NOVA on 14 November 2006. Debate exists as to the nature and cause of their walking, including controversial speculation in the form of the Uner Tan syndrome that it may be a genetic throwback to pre-bipedal hominid locomotion. Nicholas Humphrey, who accompanied the documentary makers, concluded that it was due to a rare set of genetic and developmental circumstances coming together. First, their mother recalls that initially all of her 19 children started off walking with a bear-crawl. Second, due to an inherited recessive genetic mutation, they have a non-progressive congenital cerebellar ataxia that impairs the balance children normally use to learn to walk bipedally. Not being able to manage the balance needed for bipedal walking, they perfected in its place their initial bear-crawl into an adult quadruped gait.
