Jake 2.0 2003

Jake 2.0 is an American science fiction television series originally broadcast on UPN in 2003. The series was canceled on January 14, 2004 due to low ratings, leaving four episodes unaired in the United States. In the United Kingdom, all the episodes aired on Sky1. The series later aired in syndication on HDNet and the Sci Fi Channel. The series revolves around a computer expert, Jake Foley, who works for the U.S. government's National Security Agency and was accidentally infected by nanobots which give him superhuman powers. He is able to control technology with his brain, making him "the ultimate human upgrade" according to the show's introduction.

Created by Austin Winsberg, the show was originally conceived as a real-time comedy; the first season was to show the first date of Jake and a woman. This was dropped during development, and the show became more conventional and episodic. The first aired episode reflected the original plan, and covering the first half-hour of a date.

Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks 2003

Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks is an animated children's television series. The show is animated using computer-generated imagery and broadcast in the United States on PBS Kids from 2003 to 2008. The show chronicles the boyhood adventures of Piggley Winks, an anthropomorphic pig from Ireland and how he relates these stories to his grandchildren as a grandfather in the present day. The word "jakers" was originally a euphemism for "Jesus" in Ireland during the 1950s and 1960s and was an exclamation of surprise, delight, dismay, or alarm. Piggley and his father use it to express their delight when they discover something on their adventures.

Baby Jake

Baby Jake is a children's television programme originally broadcast in the UK and first aired on 4 July 2011. The programme features Jake, a nine-month old baby. Jake is the youngest of ten children all living in a windmill with their parents. Each episode features Jake embarking on an adventure with a host of magical characters including Pengy Quin the Penguin, Toot Toot the Tractor, the Rocket Ship, Captain Spacey and the Hamsternauts, Nibbles the Rabbit, Sydney the Monkey, and, of course, Magic Baby Jake, himself. The show features a child narrator and all ten children are depicted in real life, although Baby Jake is given a multi-angle photographic face on an animated body. Jake's babbling is translated by his 5-year old brother Isaac. Isaac is voiced by a real-life 5-year-old boy, in a move described by the Guardian as "a risk" since the majority of successful children's television is narrated by adults. The roles of Jake and Isaac are portrayed by real-life brothers Adamo and Franco Bertacchi-Morroni respectively, with Kaizer Akhtar providing the voice of Isaac. The programme cost £1.85m to produce, and was funded by the Irish Film Board and CBeebies. Darrall Macqueen Ltd and JAM Media co-produced the series. JAM Media are an Irish animation studio who also made Tilly and Friends. Maddy Darrall was quoted by the Metro as gaining inspiration for the show from watching her 7-year-old nephew understanding her 1-year-old son.

The Jake Effect 2006

The Jake Effect is an American NBC situation comedy starring Jason Bateman, Nikki Cox, and Greg Grunberg. Seven episodes were produced to premiere in midseason of 2002, but NBC cancelled the series before a single episode aired. In 2006, Bravo started airing the series on the "Brilliant But Cancelled" block.

Jake & Blake is an Argentine sitcom, starring Benjamín Rojas. It tells the story of identical twin brothers separated at birth, who after meeting change places. It was pre-released on 29 November 2009, and officially released on 7 December on Disney Channel Latin America. It was created by Cris Morena and is produced by Cris Morena Group and RGB Entertainment. This production was filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina entirely in English. Despite being recorded in that language, all the actors are from Argentina, still starring Rojas.

Jake and Amir is an American comedy web series created by and starring CollegeHumor writers Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld, and set in New York City. The two play humorous versions of themselves: Jake is usually depicted as a sensible "regular guy", and Amir as his annoying, obsessive and odd co-worker, the pair acting as a comic double act.

Jake Thackray and Songs

Jake Thackray and Songs was a six-part television series recorded in 1980 and broadcast on BBC2 in 1981, in which Jake Thackray and guests performed songs live in a variety of venues. A live album of the same name, recorded at the Stables Theatre, Wavendon, Milton Keynes, as part of the sessions for the TV series, was released on LP by Dingles Records in 1983. All six episodes of the TV series still exist in the BBC archives. The album is currently out of print.

The Judge and Jake Wyler

The Judge and Jake Wyler is an American television movie directed by David Lowell Rich. The teleplay was written by Richard Levinson, William Link, and David Shaw. It was produced by Universal Television and broadcast by NBC on December 2, 1972. The title characters are a hypochondriac former judge who now owns a private detective agency and her parolee partner. The two are hired by Alicia Dodd to investigate the alleged suicide of her father, whom she suspects was really a murder victim.

Makin' Jake

Makin' Jake is an Irish comedy television programme broadcast on RTÉ Two. It follows the adventures of Jake Stevens, a character from the Naked Camera hidden camera TV series, as he attempts to find success in the United States. In each episode Stevens is in a different location, ranging from Hollywood, San Francisco and Las Vegas to Nashville, Miami and finally New York. Stevens is portrayed by the Irish comedian PJ Gallagher. The very last scene in this series features a cameo appearance by "The Fixer" as the taxi driver picking up Jake at Dublin Airport.
