The Elementary Particles 2006

Based on Michel Houellebecq's controversial novel, Atomised (aka The Elementary Particles) focuses on Michael and Bruno, two very different half-brothers and their disturbed sexuality. After a chaotic childhood with a hippie mother only caring for her affairs, Michael, a molecular biologist, is more interested in genes than women, while Bruno is obsessed with his sexual desires, but mostly finds his satisfaction with prostitutes. But Bruno's life changes when he gets to know the experienced Christiane. In the meantime, Michael meets Annabelle, the love of his youth, again.

It's Still Elementary 2007

It's Still Elementary tells the fascinating history of why and how the 1996 film was made, the infamous response it provoked from the conservative right, and the questions it raises about the national safe schools movement today. Elementary and Pylon Eights 1944

This government documentary short film demonstrates for Army Air Forces pilots in World War II the safe execution of a variety of aeronautical maneuvers. An instructor, using animation, shows the proper procedure for setting up and executing S-turns, elementary figure eights, and pylon figure eights. Illustrating the right and wrong ways to perform these maneuvers are the animated characters Wilbur Right and Wilbur Wrong.

Elementary Loves 2014

The film depicts the first flaming signs of love in human life. The characters are all ten years old and attend the same hockey and figure skating club in a small village set among the Italian Alps. The theft of a medal will trigger an adventurous escape to Moscow, where our six main characters will learn the first skirmishes of love and find new fiancés.

It's Elementary: Talking About Gay Issues in School 1996

As the title implies, this documentary is educational and aimed at helping parents learn to untangle fact from fiction concerning homosexual people. The film is taken from educational session that took place in seven elementary and middle schools from around the country that each participated a frank workshop for students discussing homosexuality with the hope of eradicating myths and promoting tolerance and understanding. During each session, gay people offer brief lectures and question and answer periods for the children. Also include in the film is a segment in which teachers themselves argue the place of the issue in their curriculum.
