North of 60 1992

North of 60 is a mid-1990s Canadian television series depicting life in the sub-Arctic northern boreal forest. It first aired on CBC Television in 1992 and was syndicated around the world. It is set in the fictional community of Lynx River, a primarily Native-run town depicted as being in the Dehcho Region, Northwest Territories. Most of the characters were Dene. Some non-native characters had important roles: the restaurant/motel owner, the band manager, the nurse and the town's main RCMP officer. The show explored themes of Native poverty, alcoholism, cultural preservation and conflict over land settlements and natural resource exploitation. Originally somewhat light-hearted, it quickly became a more dramatic and ponderous series.

North Square 2000

North Square is an award-winning British television drama series written by Peter Moffat and broadcast by Channel 4 at the end of 2000. Starring an ensemble cast, including Phil Davis, Rupert Penry-Jones, Helen McCrory and Kevin McKidd, the programme is set around the practice of a Leeds Legal Chambers. The series was filmed in and around the real life Park Square, Leeds. This is the area near the city where the majority of legal firms are concentrated. Despite gaining considerable critical acclaim the show failed to garner a substantial audience resulting in only the one series of ten episodes being produced. In Australia the series was broadcast in 2001 on ABC and repeated in 2004 after popular and critical acclaim. The full series was released on DVD for the first time by Acorn Media UK on 5 March 2012.

Up North was an MTV television show, broadcast on MTV Europe and several national TV stations in Northern Europe. Every week the viewers could vote for their favourite song as they were presented in the show, viewers voted either by SMS or on the MTV Europe website. Artists listed on Up North were from the Nordic countries and other Northern European countries such as the Baltic states. The shows introduction featured penguins which is fault. Because penguins only exists on the south pole and not on the north pole. MTV claimed else. The last show aired on September 12, 2005.

North/South

North/South was a CBC Television soap opera created and produced by Floyd Kane. The show premiered on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 2:30 P.M., and completed its run on Thursday, July 13. North/South was one of two CBC daytime dramas scheduled for 6-episode runs in July. The other one is 49th & Main, which took over the 2:30 slot on July 18 in the same scheduling setup until the finale on July 27.
