Tohru Honda is 16 year old orphaned girl who gets invited to live in the house of her classmate, the handsome boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, 16 year old Kyo and 27 year old Shigure. Everyday is an adventure for sweet Tohru, as she gets to know everyone in the large family better (especially Yuki and Kyo), in both common and bizarre situations. But, the Sohma Family curse is certainly no laughing matter... it also holds horrible cruelty and heartbreak.
A girl loves a rich and much older man (played by Kinski). She is willing to do everything he wants to show her love, but he is playing a sick game with her. As part of this game he sends her to a Chinese brothel. A poor young boy sees her and falls in love with her. To get the money needed to sleep with her, he joins “the revolution”. Additionally the movie shows the fate of some of the other prostitutes.

This drama tells the tale of a group of women who, being poor and faced with a variety of life situations, have no alternative but to work at that service. It is a work that calls into question how to deal with distortions in society.
