B.G. Bruno, a rich bachelor, the head of a successful greeting-card company in Scotland, is essentially a kind man but respectable to the point of stodginess and extreme stuffiness. An American troupe visiting Edinburgh wants to produce a musical in town but has trouble getting backers. Bruno meets several of the leading ladies of the show; through a misunderstanding he doesn't correct they think that he's a newspaper reporter. He falls in love with one of the women, who reciprocates; he grows more lively and friendly, to the surprise of his employees. After a series of mishaps and comic incidents comes a happy ending: a successful show and true love.

Khun Ton is a writer who writes romance novels. Pimmapa is a brand manager at a cosmetic brand called Naree. Story starts out with Khun Ton taking pictures at a villa on the mountains and accidently captures Pimmapa on his camera. He is immediately memorized by her beauty. They have a short encounter where he returns her lost phone to her and they go their separate ways. Long story short, Pimmapa comes back to Bangkok and finds out her boyfriend P'Eak cheated on her with two women on her wedding day. She meets Khun Ton again on her vacation and they being to hang out. They come back to Bangkok again separately and things happen that leads Pimmapa to the bar where she gets drunk and is saved by Khun Ton from being kidnapped by bad men. He takes her to her condo and as she is drunk, she tells him about her corrupted wedding day and her horrible cheating ex-boyfriend. Khun Ton comforts her and tells her that there are still many good men in the world. Pimmapa forces him to sign the marriage certificate that she still kept from the wedding day. After a bunch of convincing and making him feel guilty, Pimmapa successfully gets Khun Ton to sign the marriage certificate. The next morning, they both wake up and Pimmapa finds out they both are husband and wife because they signed the marriage certificate, but because it was not turned into the state's office(or something like that), the marriage was not official. However, Pimmapa convinces Khun Ton to pretend to be her husband for the sake of her parents and he agrees. They end up being fake husband and wife through the story but begins to develop real feelings towards each other because of their jealousy. Khun Ton is jealous of Pimmapa because her boss Khun Triwin is in love with her and tries to get close to her. Pimmapa is jealous of Khun Ton because his almost fiancée Karakade finally meets him and she wants him. She pretends to be a good girl in front of Khun Ton's grandma, but is actually a very evil person. Bad things happen because of third wheel people in the story that wants Khun Ton and Pimmapa to separate. However, Khun Ton's sister Mint and his cousin Kingkaew, Pimmapa's friends and family supports them being together, even though they all found out that the marriage was fake. In the end, the bad people loses and Khun Ton and pimmapa ends up together. The ending scene is at the same villa where Khun Ton first captured a picture of pimmapa. They hug, kiss and do all those lovey dovey things that happen in every thai lakorn.

Spanning 46 episodes, it originally premiered in 1985 across Japan on Fuji Television as the 11th series of Nippon Animation's famous World Masterpiece Theater staple. It was also later aired across Japan by the anime television network, Animax, who also later broadcast the series across its respective networks worldwide, including its English language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia, dubbing and translating the series into English under the title Princess Sarah. Animax's adaptation was the series' only English translation, and the series has yet to be commercially released in the United States. The series has also been selected as one of the best 100 Japanese anime series of all time by viewers of TV Asahi. It was also aired in numerous countries worldwide and translated into several languages, including French, Italian, German, Arabic, Filipino and Spanish. In the Philippines, it was aired by ABS-CBN in the early 1990s, and was a runaway success, even spawning a live-action film and a TV series. In the Pan-Arab region, it became the most successful anime based on a novel adaptation in the 90s with small variation in which the main character name is Sally instead of Sara.
My Lovely Sam-soon is a South Korean television series which aired on MBC from June 1, 2005 to July 21, 2005. Touted as the Korean version of Bridget Jones Diary, it stars Kim Sun-ah, Hyun Bin, Jung Ryeo-won and Daniel Henney. "Sam-soon" is an old-fashioned name, and in Korean literally means "30 years", the exact age of the female protagonist. The romantic comedy-drama series was a huge hit, with an average viewership rating of 37.6%, and its peak rating of 50.5% makes it the 26th highest rated Korean drama of all time. It also won numerous awards, including the Baeksang Arts Awards Grand Prize for TV, and the Grand Prize at the MBC Drama Awards for Kim Sun-ah.

Lovely to Look At was an early Australian television series. Broadcast on Melbourne station GTV-9, it was a fashion show. The series ran from March 1957 to November 1957. Episodes were 15-minutes in duration, broadcast live, originally aired at 10:15PM on Sundays though towards the end of the run the episodes were broadcast at 10:30PM. It typically was preceded on the schedule by a newscast followed by Epilogue and station sign-off. It is notable as representing an early effort by GTV-9 at locally-produced content. It was compered by Maxwell Gibb. According to an article in the 12 September 1957 edition of The Age, the series was directed by Rod Kinnear, who had previously been a press photographer. The 1 November 1957 edition of The Age provides additional information on the series, listing Ian Holmes as technical director, and George Havrillay as set designer, and noting that each episode went through three rehearsals before broadcast. It also listed Arlene Andrewartha, Elaine Grayden, Rae Crawley as among the models used by the series. It is not known if any of the episodes were kinescoped, and it is possible that the series is lost.

However, she accidentally writes down Aino Seiji, a regular high school student, and unless he kisses someone, Guri will die. She convinces Seiji to go kiss his crush, Hiyama Akane, the school's popular girl who turns out has even stronger feelings for him, bordering on obsessive and psychotic. Eventually Akane and Seiji come together but not before Guri decides that she likes Seiji as well. What seems awesome to most guys becomes hell for Seiji who just wants a normal relationship with girls.
