Dawson is an internet superstar whose YouTube comedy channels boast more than 10 million subscribers and over a billion views. Martemucci is a writer, actor and filmmaker who co-wrote, produced and starred in the independent film “Breakup at a Wedding.” Both directors will have creative leeway to develop their respective films using their own ingenuity and distinct experience. Actor Zachary Quinto and his producing partners Corey Moosa and Neal Dodson will join Moore and the script’s original producer, Josh Shader, to serve as mentors to Dawson and Martemucci.

The Chair is a game show television program that premiered on ABC in January 2002. It was hosted by former tennis champion John McEnroe and directed by Michael A. Simon. Among the show's writers was writer/actress Teresa Strasser, who had served on ABC's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and later hosted While You Were Out after The Chair was cancelled.

Musical Chairs is a game show that aired from June 16 to October 31, 1975 on CBS. Singer Adam Wade hosted, making him the first African-American game show host. Wade was pedigreed, having had three Billboard top ten hits in 1961. The series was recorded at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, currently the home of The Late Show with David Letterman tapes and sportscaster Pat Hernon was the announcer. The series aired at 4:00 PM against NBC's Somerset and ABC's Money Maze; it was not successful in the ratings against that competition. Usually appearing on each episode were guest singers and musical groups, among them The Tokens, The Spinners, and Sister Sledge as well as up and coming singers and stars such as Alaina Reed, Kelly Garrett, Jane Olivor, and Irene Cara.

Musical Chairs was a short-lived NBC game show that ran from July 9 to September 17, 1955; The host was Bill Leyden and the series featured voice actor Mel Blanc, composer Johnny Mercer, and orchestra leader Bobby Troup as regular panelists. Troup's band, the Troup Group, provided the music for the series, often with the assistance of the Cheerleaders singing group or members of the panel itself. The show was a summer replacement series on NBC after a successful two-year run in Los Angeles.
