Top Chef Canada 2011

Top Chef Canada is a reality competition show. The first season premiered on April 11, 2011 on Food Network Canada. The first season consisted of 13 episodes, with 16 contestants vying for a grand prize of $100,000 and a GE Monogram kitchen valued at $30,000. Contestants shopped at Loblaws in season one and McEwan in season two. Like the original American series, each week the chef contestants compete against each other in culinary challenges. Contestants are judged by a panel of professional chefs and other notables from the food and wine industry, with one or more contestants being eliminated each week. The Canadian edition uses the same graphics and music as the American version of the program. Season one of Top Chef Canada was one of Food Network Canada's most highly-rated programs. The network renewed the program for a second season, which began to air on March 12, 2012.

Come Dine With Me Canada is a Canadian reality television series, adapted from the British programme Come Dine With Me. The show debuted November 1, 2010 on the W Network. The show has generally brings five amateur chefs competing against each other hosting a dinner party for the other contestants. Canada's Worst Driver is a Canadian television series on Discovery Channel, based on Britain's Worst Driver, and is part of the Worst Driver television franchise. It and sister series Canada's Worst Handyman are the two highest-rated programs on Discovery Channel. The series is produced by Proper Television, whose president, Guy O'Sullivan, was the director for the original Britain's Worst Driver series; as such, Canada's Worst Driver is considered to be the production company's flagship show. Unlike other Worst series around the world, the Canadian version emphasizes the learning process of the contestants and the science of driving, and as such is often more serious than the other Worst shows around the world, which are mainly played for laughs. It is the longest running of any Worst series to date. The series is also aired dubbed in French in Canada, as the Les zéros de conduite on Canal D.

Intervention Canada profiles people whose dependence on drugs and alcohol or other compulsive behavior has brought them to a point of personal crisis or estranged them from their friends and loved ones. Each episode ends with a surprise intervention that is staged by the family and friends of the addict, conducted by addiction specialists. On February 9, 2012 Slice had announced on their Facebook that the show is cancelled.

Report Canada

Hosted by Heather Conkie, this 1978 Canadian television children's program was modeled after a news program. Conkie sat at a desk in front of a big map of Canada, and provided historical, geographical, and social information about the country. The show also featured drawings or posters that were sent in by viewers. The program was aired on TVOntario; it succeeded an earlier show that was also hosted by Conkie, and which was called Report Metric, that helped to teach children the Metric system to which Canada was converting at the time.

Each episode of "Chopped Canada" challenges four professional chefs to turn boxes of mystery ingredients into a three-course meal in a race against the clock. Each course serves as its own round in the competition, and the chef with the least-successful dish — as determined by a panel of judges — is eliminated after each round. The chef who comes out on top following the dessert round wins $10,000 and the title of "Chopped Canada" champion.

Storage Wars Canada 2013

Storage Wars: Canada is a Canadian reality television series on OLN. It is a spin-off of the highly-popular American A&E television series, Storage Wars. The series follows a group of buyers looking to strike it big by buying storage units at auctions when rent is not paid. It is the first series in the Storage Wars franchise to not feature Thom Beers providing narration, as well as being the first spinoff shot outside of the United States, and to not premiere on A&E. Storage Wars: Canada was announced on April 3, 2013, with production beginning the following month. The first season consisting of 36 episodes was initially previewed at Fan Expo 2013 before premiering on OLN on August 29, 2013.

Creepy Canada 2002

Creepy Canada is a Canadian television series that aired on OLN. It focused on paranormal activities around Canada. The show first premiered on October 23, 2002 and began its third season on May 5, 2006. With the third season the show's scope was expanded to include paranormal activity reported in the United States. It was originally hosted by Terry Boyle, and was later hosted by Brian O'Dea, who was also the producer of the show. Creepy Canada's last episode aired on July 28, 2006; the show has stopped producing new episodes.

Canada Tonight was a Canadian television newscast which aired on stations owned by Western International Communications from 1993 to 2001. It was produced out of the studio of CHAN-TV in Burnaby, British Columbia. There were two versions of the newscast; the one seen outside BC was anchored by Tony Parsons, and the one seen in that province was anchored by Bill Good. The BC version, seen only on BCTV, featured more stories related to Vancouver and BC, as well as local weather and some national news reports sourced from CTV, which WIC's other stations were unable to use.

Canada AM is a Canadian breakfast television news show, that has aired on CTV since September 11, 1972. It is currently hosted by Beverly Thomson and Marci Ien, with Jeff Hutcheson presenting the weather forecast and sports. The program currently airs only on weekdays, and is produced from CTV's facilities at 9 Channel Nine Court in Toronto. In addition to CTV's local owned-and-operated stations in Eastern Canada as well as affiliate station CITL-DT Lloydminster, the program also airs on independent station CJON-DT in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as CTV News Channel, the network's 24-hour national news service. The program previously aired on CTV's O&Os in Western Canada, until they launched their own all-local morning news programmes called CTV Morning Live in fall 2011.
